Museum TRIP

 Kia ora bloggers!

After 4 days being off school, on Tuesday my class visited the AM (Auckland Museum).  We also visited the winter garden which was nearby, it was really fun!

Somethings I learnt was that the Whare Nui was shaped as a person. I learnt body parts of the Whare Nui, In Maori. To memorise the body parts we played a game of Simon says. The lady said the name of the body part and we had to show it in actions.

I had 2 favourite bits of the trip. One was when we played Simon says, I'd say i'm pretty good at remembering and surprisingly, I won! My second favourite part was when we went to the winter garden, I liked playing with these types of leaves, when we pressed them they would close up.

Something I am wondering is how they moved the Waka, the dinosaur models and the Whare Nui and other big things into the Museum?

Here is a picture of me and my group trying to pick up the heavy rock:

I loved the trip and I would love to visit again with my family!

What I know about well being

 Fakaalofa Lahi Atu bloggers!

We've finally started a new term after 2 weeks of fun holidays which I hope you all had. This term our topic is Inside Out which means that we are learning about well being.

Here are some reasons why we're studying about well being:

  • so we make it through the Covid-19 pandemic safely.
  • have a healthy life.
  • be happy, etc.

Here is a DLO I made which shows what I already know about well being:

Come back at the end of the term and check out how much more I've learnt. I think by the end of the term I will learn HEAPSSSSS more.
