Summer learning journey!

 Kia Ora Bloggers!

Since SLJ (Summer Learning Journey) has started I did one of the tasks, it was about commenting on other peoples blogs from a link on the page. We look for a post that we are interested in then click the link and write our comment. But first you create a doc in your writing folder to craft your comment. I commented on this post http://odsmelnina.blogspot.com/2020/12/my-very-cool-blog-post-about-joining.html which was quite good.

I think my comment was positive, thoughtful and helpful because I said the things I liked about the post, then talked about my opinion about the items on the post, then I searched for some errors and reminded her to fix it. I think the three things I did were positive thoughtful and helpful, I asked her some questions about her opinions. I think that her blog post was worth commenting on and it had good reasons about it.

Here is a link to my comment: http://odsmelnina.blogspot.com/2020/12/my-very-cool-blog-post-about-joining.html?showComment=1607907974401#c6533494323981694876 (ctrl a the link then double click it should say go to http://odsmelnina.blogspot.com/2020/12/my-very-cool-blog-post-about-joining.html?showComment=1607907974401#c6533494323981694876 and you click that)

Summer Learning Journey Practise Activity

 Hey bloggers!

This afternoon we did our SLJ ( Summer Learning Journey) Activity practise. This was a practise to show how the tasks will be like and what we need to do, where to see what task we are doing. This practise task was a digital colouring thing, we went on this website the link was on our class site and the Summer Learning Journey page.

On the page there was a link to colouring page, there were many options of what to colour, all of them looked amazing, the people who drew them must've been amazing at art. I chose a picture of large waves which looked beautiful, the person who drew it was a Japanese with the name of Hokusai and the name of the art was Under The Wave Of Kangawa.

Here is a template that shows the picture I coloured and the original version of it, it also has some information and some descriptions of why I coloured the picture that way.

Tabloid Sports!

Ni Hao bloggers!

A few days ago we had a session with our P.e. teacher, we had to lead some rotational activities for other classes. First we divided into groups of 3-4 then chose which activity we were gonna lead, my group chose Noodle Tiggy. Our job was to teach other classes how to play the game, and also let them try it. Before we started every group had a practise by teaching the rest of the class. After every class had practised the day had come.

Or teachers divided the participants into 7 groups and they would rotate every 5 minutes. Most of the groups who came to our session behaved quite well, not much people interrupted, they were honest and they didn't break the rules. First we explained how to play the game to them even though most of them knew how to play. Then we showed them a demonstration of how to play to help them understand, and they did well! Sometimes when everyone in the group knew how to play we didn't explain and just let them have fun, which is probably why they behaved for us, for other activity leaders they didn't cope well. Sometimes we joined in and played the game with them, it was very fun!

Here is something I created to show some information about the things I did and also about leadership skills:

Duffy Show!

 Hey Bloggers!

This Wednesday actors from Duffy visited our school. W had a Duffy theatre show, which means they presented out a Duffy play. The play was about of a coggeen which is a cat, chicken and a dog mix up. The people they acted out as were Bex, her dad and Duffy.

In the Story Duffy and Bex loved to read theory's about coggeens which most of the people didn't believe were real. The started the story by Bex telling Duffy about her coggeen but the real story started with her flashback telling Duffy how she got the coggeen. She bought it online from a farmer who accidentally made it and the coggeen was ruining his farm, so he sold it. Then she had a flashback telling Duffy how it arrived at her house. Bex named the coggeen Millie

The coggeen had a fight with Bex and Duffy so it ran away as it was upset. The coggeen got lost in the forest. Bex and Duffy were worried they had no advise of where they liked to go, so they used their books to get clues about where they like to go. In the end we had to sing to bring the coggeen back, because it couldn't resist children singing.

Here is a picture of my with my new magnificent Duffy book:

And here is a picture of them performing:
